In 1838 white settlers who came to America from other places drove the Cherokee Nation over 1,000 miles from southeast of the country to Oklahoma and took possession of the land that legally belonged to the natives, and did not care a bit about the misery and death that caused the natives, thousands of the natives either died or were shot on the way for no real reason by this barbaric act.
The offspring of the same people are in Iraq today and encouraging the Kurds and others to apply these tactics to the Assyrian people. It worked then and it is working today in Iraq. The only difference is that to the Assyrians are driven many miles further from their land into foreign lands.
Just the other day I was listening to president Bush’s speech about the new Iraqi constitution that is being signed by the Iraqie people, and he was bragging about Muslim people of Iraq, namely the shies, the sounnis, and the Kurds, are practicing their democratic freedom to sign the constitution or not; like these were the only people in Iraq. He did not once mention the Assyrians or Christians, like they don’t even exist. The majority of the Assyrians in the United States, voted for President Bush thinking that he will help us, but it is obvious that the same blood runs through President Bush’s veins as did the white settlers.
The only thing Mr. Bush is intrested and cares about is Iraq's oil and if a couple of million people, namely the Assyrians, are eliminated in the process, so what. The British have tought him to keep the area Islamic and the oil will flow your way much easier.
And while all of this is going, the Assyrian people keep turning the other cheek, for how much longer we can live with this behavior?
When are we going to realize that if we want anything we have to do it ourselves and not depend on others. The west needs Iraq to be another Islamic state, the new constitution dictates the Islamic laws. I can not see how the Assyrians fit in this picture; we need to protect ourselves by exhibiting some kind of self-determination. We have been divided by other forces and divided we will be conquered, we need to unite under one name: Assyrians. That is the only way.
There is no choice in Islam. There are no freedoms. The doctrine is "submission". The Qur’an orders Muslims to submit and obey, where there is no democracy. Therefore where there is Islam, there will be no democracy.
Assyria For Assyrians

I am an Assyrian who didn’t have the privilege to be born in Assyria, but I was born in an Assyrian home not too far from Assyria. I am proud of my heritage, and as far as I can trace back my ancestors, all were Assyrian, so I will die an Assyrian.
I have come to realize that there will be no Assyria in my lifetime or ever. This is a result of us constantly following the same pitiful ways and us being grateful for those who try to keep us happy with so called “new strategies,” that our nation is all too familiar with. With the rise of the Iraqi crisis, this was supposed to be our golden opportunity to ask for a small piece of land, that belongs to us in the first place, where we can live in peace and without fear of being massacred again. It is amazing that everywhere you dig in what is now going to be Kurdistan, you find the bones of our ancestors, yet we have no claim to any part of it.
I have to thank our leaders, political organizations, and the churches for being fast asleep and not ready for this day, we have no one to blame but ourselves. Not only did we not get what the rest of Iraq got, but also now we have Chaldo-Ashour as our new name. The reason for this was that there were not enough people, so we had to modify our name to show that we have a larger population than we really are. While we are at it, why not change our name to Shiite-Ashour or Turkoman-Ashur, that is an even bigger number. Just look around at the small Gulf States that the west has created, their overall population is nowhere near that of the Assyrians. So what do numbers have to do with this situation, is this some new politics or a new game for the unfortunate Assyrians. The right of self-determination of indigenous people is a pillar of international law. As the indigenous people of Iraq we should impose our rights under these laws.
A nations name is not clothing that you can change for every new occasion. Assyria is sacred to us Assyrians. God has given us this and even he himself cannot change it. Who has given you the power to play with our name and language? The Iraqi people know who the Assyrian are and so does the rest of the world; we are the only ones that are confused.
Every time some one from outside Iraq criticizes these so called leaders in Iraq, their answer is “why don’t you come in here and work”, “we are in the war zone”, “we know what we are doing.” These are the same people who are not shy to ask for financial support, so if they want our support then we must make our voices heard too.
Taking into consideration the direction which Iraq is taking, if we as a nation do not stand our ground and demand our rights as a nation, we will be assimilated into Iraqi Christians and finally into Islam. The west is taking the same approach in Iraq as they do with Afghanistan, Iran, and any other Islamic state. In the Middle East they care less for the Assyrians and Christians, the west is only interested in their benefits in that region. The British know the mentality of the people in the that area and have been doing business there for a century. Just read the new Iraqi constitution, if it is supposed to be a democracy, why would an Islamic clause be included? The British fooled us before and it worked, so now they are doing it again. We cannot count on anybody but ourselves and I hope that our Martyrs' blood hunts down those who stand in our way.
Long live Assyria and the Assyrian people
Sunday, November 21, 2010
I would like to congratulate all of the Assyrian organizations and self-appointed leaders for dragging the Assyrian nation into this mass confusion in this crucial time of Iraq rebuilding its government. It seems that every group in Iraq knows what they want and the steps to take, but the Assyrians are oblivious of their sacred duties. Assyrians did not get anything out of the vote and all the more discouraging, the Assyrian name was not mentioned once in the news of what they want. One can only think that there are only two reasons for this idiotic lack of movement, either we don’t have adequate political people or that the elements are against us, either way we should not be in this predicament. Is it that we have no place in this jigsaw puzzle and are just fooling ourselves.
It is not that I am not happy about what is going on in Iraq, I commend the people that want to bring democracy there. The thing I don’t comprehend is if 95% of Iraq is Muslim and more specifically 60% is Shiite Muslim, how is there going to be any democracy for the Assyrians? They would not let us vote, if they only had the power they might try to massacre us again in an attempt to finally eradicate our people. As for the polling places and our right to vote, Assyrians had the right to vote wherever they live. Assyrians didn’t leave everything behind because they wanted to; they were forced out and proper accommodations should have been made so that displaced Assyrians could have their voices heard. We left everything behind because we feared for our lives and should be entitled to reparations by the new Iraqi government for displacing the majority of our peoples.
I am an Assyrian Christian, not and Iraqi Muslim. I don’t want to be known as Iraqi Assyrian, only as Assyrian... nothing more and nothing less. I may seem a bit pessimistic, but I just don’t see how I fit in this picture of Iraqi democracy. To live in Iraq under these conditions would make us abide by Islamic law and allow us to always be treated as second-class citizens, just as we are in all other Islamic countries. We are always going to be analogous to the American Indian in Iraq and very soon we will all speak Arabic and practice Islam.
To save the Assyrian nation and ourselves we should be asking for Assyrian independence or some kind of autonomous state in the region of our ancestors land. I don’t think we will offend anyone with our just case, if not we should leave the region in protest, and hope God have mercy on the Assyrian’s souls.

Assyrians, Chaldeans, Suroyos - whatever you call yourselves these days:
We cannot live in peace and harmony with these barbarians. Islam, the "religion of peace" – Ha! It cannot tolerate anyone with a different ideology. They see us as a threat to their system. They want us to either leave our homeland, or be conquered. This is simply how Islam operates. Mohammad’s victory with a small number of men and conquest over the infidels was because he used trickery and terror in their hearts. We have no one to turn to but ourselves and each other. The time of being passive is over; we cannot turn the other cheek anymore. We either have to convert to Islam, or strike back. Where are our heroes? Need some skillful planners to train few martyrs? Blow up a few mosques, a couple of planes and buildings - the larger the atrocity, the better in the eyes of the world coverage. The events in Iraq murdering 58 innocent people in the past few weeks are proof what we are dealing with, and the West is plenty happy and beneficial from all these massacres. That's why they're silent on this matter; if this happened to bunch of Arabs the news coverage would be on all over the world. Soon, the West is going to practice Shiraya Law, just like its president Barack (The name of the women headed donkey that carried the Prophet Muhammad up to heaven)., who is bowing to Arab leaders and Islamic , who is bowing to Arab leaders and Islamic CNN and other mass medias.

Assyrians, Chaldeans, Suryoyos: Let us unite and stop what happened in Baghdad, Iraq from happening again. If we unite, our strength can lead us to a save haven. Do not ignore this incident - if so, we will perish one at a time.
We need each other; unity will give us a voice so that the nations of the world can hear our demands.
"They came for Assyrians, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't Assyrian. Then they came for Chaldeans, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't Chaldean. Then they came for the Suryoyos, and by that time no one was left to speak up"
We have to count on ourselves, because, if we do not come together, no one will come to our aid.

Mr. Hannity;
50 Assyrian Christians died in the bombing of the Christian church in Iraq, by th hands of the Muslims. No American media reported the incident. If it had happened to a group of Muslims, it would be everywhere in the media. I pray each and every time I get a chance that it will happen in this country, which will inevitably happen, because Islam has no boundaries.
(Chapter Women verse 73:Let those who would exchange the life of this world for the hereafter, fight for the cause of Allah; whether they die or conquer, We shall richly reward them.

At the expense of the Assyrians
Just the other day, I was listening to Mr. Christ Plante’s talk show on 630 WMAL. In response to a caller, he had said that not all Muslims are terrorists. He also stated that he knew his history, and continued bragging about how we, the West, made all the Arabs wealthy by pumping their oil. “They had nothing to do with it”, so he claimed. According to Plante, they just sat there, reaping the wealth. Otherwise, they would have been in tribal wars amongst themselves.
Well, I have some news for Dear Mr. Plante: I know a bit of history too. He had forgotten to mention that all this was at the expense of the Assyrian people. When the British drew the lines in the sand, they took and gave the Assyrian lands to the Arabs, giving the order to massager all the Assyrians residents. This is a karmic ‘payback’, so to speak, for all the Assyrian blood that seeped through the sand and mixed with oil. As long as the Assyrians suffer in the hands of the Muslims in the Middle-East, unfortunate occurrences such as September 11th will be doomed to repeat; for those who ignore history are bound to repeat it.
All the Muslims are, in a way, terrorists, because a Muslim must follow the Koran down to every letter and punctuation mark, just as it is written in the same, devoutly followed, holy book that you must Jihad in the name of Allah and not be a friend with the Jews or Christian. It is also stated that anywhere you find an infidel or non-Muslim, you must first cut his hand and feet the opposite way and then kill him. There is only one Islam, and the Koran explicitly says so; the ones that are so called ‘moderate Muslims’ are considered either ‘sleeping cells’ or self-righteous people who don’t have any idea about the religion.
Once you are Muslim, you cannot covert to any other religion: you will be marked for death. Mr. Obama, President of the United States of America, who have been to those Islamic schools, I considered him another Muslim sleeping cell. One can see what he’s doing is (mostly) for the Muslims rather than his followers and fellow Americans.

Arabs Should Practice What They Preach
Arabs persistently lecture the West about Israel’s unfair treatment of the Palestinians. Yet the Arabs disregard their own similar conduct. Centuries of brutal oppression of Moslem and Christian minorities in Arab countries is of little concern to these same Arab critics. Further, despite the close presence of approximately 26 Arab countries, not one is willing to offer refuge to the Palestinians. These shortcomings do not prevent Arab complaints that Israel unfairly denies autonomy to the Palestinians. The international community must demand an explanation of this double standard.
Despite protestations to the contrary, one must question the sincerity of Arab sympathy toward the plight of the Palestinians. For example, prior to the Gulf War, the Kuwatians denied its resident Palestinians basic freedom and protection, let alone right to citizenship. If an Arab country such as Kuwait, one possessing unlimited wealth, cannot find it within themselves to grant basic protection to their fellow Arabs, it is difficult to understand the basis upon which Israel should concede territory or grand autonomy to the Palestinians. It seems safe to conclude that the Arabs are motivated by imperialism and deep-seated hostility towards Israel rather than genuine sympathy for the Palestinians.
The neighboring Arab countries deserve part of the blame for the plight of the Palestinians. Jordon was really Palestine until the British mandate created Jordan in 1947. Palestinians make up about 70% of Jordan’s population. Surely Jordan could be doing much more to assist the Palestinians. Many other Arab countries, such as Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf states, are oil-rich and under-populated. Yet, they have made no effort to resettle either Palestinians or Bosnian Moslims, even on a temporary basis. On the other hand, Israel, with meager resources, has resettled hundreds of thousands of emigrants from the former Soviet Union as well as refugees from Ethiopia and Yugoslavia.
Assyrians can readily empathize with the Palestinians because Assyrians are also unwanted in their own country. The Palestinians, however, have the advantage of a shared ancestry with other Arabs, including a shared language, religion and culture. Assyrians, on the other hand, are a completely different people.
One wonders why the Arabs didn’t speak up when the Kurds and the Assyrians were brutally oppressed any number of times in the recent years. The Arab community was able to look the other way even when Saddam Hussein was massacring Kurds and raiding Assyrian villages during the Iran-Iraq war. Perhaps the Arabs remained silent because it was not Arab lives that were lost. It is not clear to us, at least, why different rules should apply to Arabs.
The Palestinians should not be living under their present conditions. They should have a safe haven where they are able to live in peace and dignity and conduct their own affairs. But as long as Assyrian and Kurdish claims remain unsolved, justice has not been done.

“RADICAL ISLAM”
I just like to inform Mr. US Attorney General Eric Holder to wake up and smell the beans, and that go’s to all American that think Islam is faith based on love and peace.
There is no two Islams, true Muslim must follow the the teaching of Holy Koran and the sharia laws.
Osama bin Laden and his clans are true Muslim, others who think they are peaceful Muslims have no clue about the real deal, majority of them are born into the religion, have not red the Koran, they only know what was taught to them by the twisted Mollas.
Islam has a way of justifying it actions, do not kill, but if kill in the name of Allah it is o.k. Do not lie, but if you lie to an infidel it is o.k. This is a way out for the Muslims. Now, is this Allah is merciful!"god" of love and peace?
The Holy Koran call the Jews monkeys, and the Christians pigs, and where ever you find the infidels cut their hands and feet on the opposite side, and kill them, what part of this teaching have to do with love and peace.
